Description

The Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) for Elevators represents the latest generation of emergency elevator system technology. In the event of a power failure, it ensures the elevator reaches the nearest designated floor or the ground floor, facilitating the safe opening of the elevator doors. This functionality is also applicable in cases of internal elevator power system malfunctions.

The microprocessor-based ARD is compatible with any elevator control panel. It uses a sealed lead-acid battery for power and ensures a secure elevator descent. In case of power failure or fault, the ARD activates quickly. If the elevator is at a floor, doors open; if between floors, it descends to the nearest or lowest floor using minimal current before opening doors and then deactivates.
